How I removed AntiVirus 2010 trojan and saved my computer

So, for the past week or so, I’ve had this nasty trojan horse virus on my computer, & it was a complete nightmare. The trojan’s name was under ‘AntiVirus 2010’, and what it basically does is it imitates the real AntiVirus 2010 by reporting fake security alerts and displaying fake scan results that’ll make you thhink that you have a ton of infected files on your harddrive. After performing its “scan”, a few windows from the trojan will appear, asking you to buy the the “full version” of the software.
Most forum sites on this trojan will tell you not to click on any of the dialog boxes that appear, and instead open windows task manager ( by holding ctrl, alt, delete all at the same time) & end the task from there. Personally though, there were many times where the AntiVirus window popped up over everything else I had open, and wouldnt let me close it from the Windows Task Manager. In those cases, I was forced to click on the trojan’s window to close out of it. Most times it proved pretty pointless, because as soon as I would close one window, like 3 more would pop up. It’s safe to say the longer the virus is on your computer, the more engorged the trojan gets into your computer.
Along with having fake scan results and annoying advertisements, the trojan eventually starts to block internet useage. My home page is yahoo, and as soon I would open the internet, the trojan would redirect it to another site that claimed that I didn’t have permission to expose my computer to these “malicious” sites. Eventually I found a way to get around the trojan blocking my internet activity, (just by simply pressing the back button), but it was still another annoying side effect. The virus also responds to anything that it detects as a threat to itself. ie. Googling, ‘Remove AntiVirus 2010 rogue’, etc.
So, after downloading various programs to get the bug off (I already had Microsoft Essentials and Spyware Doctor on the computer), I finally got to downloading AVG, and it got the virus off in less than an hour. On Download.com, it’s either the first or 2nd widely downloaded program, so it shouldnt be hard to find.
here’s the link if anyone’s interested :) :
AVG AntiVirus 2011 Free Edition

* As a sidenote, before you download AVG AntiVirus 2011, you’ll have to uninstall any other virus protection software you have on your computer.
AVG also offers a free trial version of its full software for 30 days. I downloaded the full software, though the free version has basically the same protection. If you have any virus, I would go ahead and download the full version. Its 30 days of amazing protection, and when your 30 days is up, they’ll give you the option of switching back to the free version.

I just got them all yesterday, and I’m about 25 pgs into the first one on the top left. Nerdy .. but, I’m ready to go through all of them. Most are non-fiction, a few biographies & memoirs. I think one of them is a “based off” story. I feel like I need a ton more, because the Holocaust/Hitler/WWII section @ Web Westconnett was really lacking. I plan on making a few trips to Chamblins & the Main library this weekend, & i def need more suggestions (:
Memories made with quality.

HALLOWEEN IS THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER.
buuuuuuut ya, Halloween trumps every other holiday because that’s when sweet baby Norrelle was born, mhmmm. This year though, my birthday fell on a boring sunday, so I wasn’t expecting to do a whole lot for it, which was surprisingly okay. For almost every birthday, I’ve done something, so this year was a definite change. Last year I had a sweet sixteen, and all the years before that I had some kind of themed party. Each party included a handful of actual friends, two handfuls of extended & real family, and a ton of people who I didn’t know, & who probably barely knew me. Out of all the 17 birthdays I’ve ever had, this one had to have been the most memorable. This year, I actually spent time with everyone who cared enough to want to spend time with me. This has been the only birthday where I haven’t had to put on a fake smile for strangers that my parents insisted that I’ve met before, aaand best of all, I didn’t have to write a gabillion ‘thank you cards’, and ooooooh wee. What a relief! haha. LOL, instead I spent friday with my bestfriend & boyfriend, saturday with my boyfriend again, & sunday with my mom & other bestfriend. KAT MAMA, GRACE, JAMIE & BOBBIE. ♥ & to take the place of all the past years’ ‘thank you’ cards, I wrote over 150 ‘thank you’ comments on birthday wall posts. (:
I’m not too sure where I was going with all this, or if anyone is even going to read this, much less care. But I don’t know. I feel like I taught myself a lesson I should’ve learned a few years back: QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY. Pizza Hut, kettle corn, shortbread cookies, outdated library movies, the wii, some scrubs, little late night talks, icecream, & chinese-american art. That was all it took to make me incredibly happy this weekend. & I would’ve been just as content if I had none of it, but still had those four bolded by my side.
I’ve been waiting for a while .. & it’s finally here (:

I apologize,

As I sit here, vaguely thinking about finishing my biology homework, impatiently waiting for my old Vidal Sassoon crimper to heat alllll the way up, and mindlessly brushing my teeth while periodically getting up to “spit”, I can’t help but feel intensely disappointed, though I think that may be a little bit of an understatement.
*insert spit break here*
I’m not exactly sure what to call it or how to classify it. Emotions are tricky like that. The best, and really only way I can think to sum it all up is this:
Nothing will ever be good enough.
That almost hurt to type. I absolutely hate it, partly because I feel like a huge hypocrite. I’ve heard people complain nonstop, almost always using some variant of that phrase, “ohmygoshhh, things are amazing right now.. but” or “I’m feeling a lot better, but I just wish..”, you get my point. And honestly, it was annoying. I’ve always had this mindset, that the positive immediate should always overshadow the past or future negative. “Oh, they’re just complaining for no reason,” I’d think. “They’re being completely ungrateful.”
And now, completely humbled, I feel like I’ve got to apologize to those who actually were in a situation where they were genuinely at a point in their lives where they’ve felt as if they had almost nothing positive to look forward to at the end of the day, despite their efforts. It’s a horribly discouraging feeling, and I’ve never felt more lonely and disappointed.
I’m sorry.

About a week ago, I saw one of ym friends with a tonnn of paint on her jeans. So i figured I might as well finish up the job & paint it all the way.
Because I’m obsessed with anything “flower”, I was thinking something along these lines:
The “branches” that I originally thought of when I was brainstorming are a little nonexistent in the tattoo though. The colors are amazing, & I think it’s a pretty good base startng point.
Nat King Cole will always be one of my favorites.

& this is why.
When I Fall In Love by Nat King Cole
When I fall in love, It’ll be forever.
Or I’ll never fall in love.
In a restless world like this is,
Love is ended before it’s begun.
And too many moonlight kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun.
